Great article. I too grew up at Lions. My father used to drop me off every Saturday with 75 cents in my pocket(.25 to get in and .50 for a hotdog and a coke). I was 12 years old and have been a drag racer ever since. I was there for virtually every major event in your piece and it was like reliving it again. Thanks for rekindling those memories.
