CP MOTORSPORTS - BUSCH EXTENDS SUMMER MOMENTUM; SNAGS TRUCK WIN AT POCONO

Kyle Busch once said winning in NASCAR's Camping World Truck Series for him was the equivalent of taking candy from a baby.
Well if that's the case then Busch just made away with another bag of Crispy M&M's by leading 53 of 69 laps and holding off the competition on a green white checkered finish en route to taking the checkered flag in Saturday afternoon's Pocono Mountains 150.
Busch anticipated the race to be a learning experience of sorts.
"It was really fun," Busch said. "I had a great Dollar General Tundra today. It was really awesome. All of these guys, (crew chief) Jerry Baxter, and everyone at Kyle Busch Motorsports do a really good job at producing some really good stuff. I wanted to get back out there and get my feet wet and just kind of see exactly where we were at and I had fun today. Of course, I guess you always do when you run out front and you win.
"Pocono has also been one of those places that hasn't been so great for us in the past but today it was a lot different than that."
The win for Busch in his NCWTS season debut marks the 43rd time he's visited victory lane in a truck but the first time at Pocono. Busch has also won at least one race in all three of NASCAR's major touring divisions for the 10th time in his career.
Kevin Harvick, driving the No. 00 Haas Automation Chevrolet for JR Motorsports, ran near the front for majority of the race but came across the finish line in second place.
It's the first time Harvick has competed in the truck series since 2013.
Tyler Reddick came away with a third place finish and the championship points lead after a wreck forced then points leader Matt Crafton to a 28th place finish, 53 laps down.
Crafton did not mince words as he believed he was taken out by Reddick's car owner Brad Keselowski, who was driving his No. 29 Ford.
"The idiot hooked me in the right rear, that's all there was to it getting into Turn 3," Crafton said. "I guess that's maybe how he wants to win a championship with that No. 19 truck (Tyler Reddick). He's got another thing coming. I promise you that truck won't win it. If that's how he wants to do it, we'll get it done."
Keselowski, never returned to the track and finished 30th, vehemetly denied Crafton's bold claims.
"I have no interest in coming to the Truck Series and wrecking someone on purpose," Keselowski told TV reporters. "Tyler Reddick is doing a good job, but he has a ways to go to run with Matt. Matt's an awesome driver and that's a great team. The last thing I want to do is go out and wreck them. I want my team to earn it if they are to run up front.
"I have no interest in going out and wrecking someone intentionally and that's not what happened."
Rookie Cameron Hayley finished in fourth place with Austin Dillon coming home with a fifth place finish.
Johnny Sauter finished in sixth place followed by Timothy Peters, Matt Tifft, Daniel Hemric and Erik Jones rounding out the top ten.
