In 1988, just three years after the passing of track founder John Bandimere Sr., Bandimere Speedway undergoes a $4.2 Million dollar renovation. The facility returns to action in 1989 with a barnburner of an event. There's a bit of everything in this 1989 broadcast from near tragedy to emotional triumph.
