AUSSIE TOP FUEL SERIES SPONSOR BOWS OUT

Burson Auto Parts, one of the leading players in the supply of parts, tools and equipment for the Australian automotive industry, has called time on their sponsorship of the Australian Top Fuel Championship.

The company has been naming rights sponsor for the ATF series since the launch of the championship in 2022.

“The past two years of Burson Auto Parts playing a major part in the Australian Top Fuel Championship has been both exciting and rewarding,” said Fiona Gotas, Group Marketing and Communications Manager for Bapcor Trade, owner of Burson Auto Parts.

"It was great to be involved with the rebirth of front-line Australian drag racing and we greatly appreciate the efforts of everyone involved in delivering these events over the past two seasons. On behalf of the entire team at Burson Auto Parts, we would like to thank the event organizers, race teams, drivers and fans. We wish you all well for the future.”

Burson Auto Parts also held naming rights for the Lamattina Team Fuel car driven by Shane Olive.

“The team at Top Fuel is so grateful for the support Burson Auto Parts has given drag racing over the last two years through their sponsorship of the Burson Auto Parts Top Fuel Championship,” according to TFA Promoter, Andy Lopez. “That partnership was instrumental in getting the Top Fuel Championship off the ground, which led directly to the creation of the National Drag Racing Championship.”

The opening round of the 2023-24 Top Fuel season is scheduled for October 21-22.
