WILD THINGS ARE COMING!

It's no secret that outlaw style racing has rapidly become one of the hottest venues to hit the drag racing scene. Blossoming in the southern states and making its way to each coast, fans have been able to experience some of the wildest heads up action that only an outlaw doorslammer series can provide.

For those who live in the Midwest, there is an eighth mile series that has been steadily growing called Outlaw Street Madness. Friendly, fun and affordable, this series includes three heads up classes and two index
classes offering something for every level of player.

If you think Outlaw 10.5 is wild, OSM's Outlaw 8.5 is simply off the hook! Yes that's right. eight and a half inches of tire putting down times as fast as mid five second passes. And dragging the bumper to boot! This little class has exploded, so much that it has prompted tire makers such as Mickey Thompson to take an interest in the possibility of re-developing the tire, making it safer for the increasing speed and workload.

Another format that has once again grown popular is Index racing. Not exactly a bracket class, index racing is run off of a Pro Tree and the dial in is fixed. Outlaw Street Madness offers both 6.50 as well as 7.50 index classes.

For the opening event, Outlaw Street Madness has teamed up with the U.M.T.R. stick shift series. United Manual Transmission Racers offer two classes full of gear bangin' stick shift only cars. National Trail Raceway in Columbus, OH will host the opener. For more information and the latest new on the Outlaw Street Madness series please visit www.outlawstreetmadness.com.
