The parade is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. on Montana Avenue between Ochoa
and Copia Streets in El Paso, Texas. Last year, over 350,000 people attended
this special event preceding the Sun Bowl in El Paso, scheduled this year to
be played on Dec. 29.

Capps becomes the 11th sports figure to serve as Grand Marshal of the
FirstLight Federal Credit Union Sun Bowl Parade, joining a group that
includes sports icons Don Haskins, Bobby Dobbs, Lee Trevino, Mickey Mantle
and Don Maynard.

"We are extremely excited to have one of the nation's premier Funny Car
drivers serve as our Grand Marshal," said Bernie Olivas, executive director
of the Sun Bowl Association. "Having Ron Capps and the Don Schumacher Racing
Brut Funny Car in the FirstLight Federal Credit Union Sun Bowl Parade will
really be a treat for the 300,000 fans on Thanksgiving Day."

Capps is a five-time NHRA Funny Car titlist this season and has won 22 NHRA
POWERade Drag Racing Series national events in his career. He led the point
standings through the majority of the 23 races this year, ending up third in
the rankings. He finished in the top 10 for the ninth time in the last 10
years.

"The addition of Ron Capps as the grand marshal is something special," said
Joe Daubach, special events director at the Sun Bowl Association. "El
Pasoans will have the opportunity to see one of the nation's premier NHRA
drivers and have the opportunity to see both Ron Capps and his Brut
Revolution Dodge Charger in person."

"To be a part of a parade that is over 70 years old is a tremendous honor,"
said Capps, "not to mention being on a list of some pretty incredible
athletes who have been part of this parade in the past. The parade is going
to be very exciting for me, my daughter Taylor (age 10), my son Caden (5),
and my wife Shelley. To actually be in a parade, and not just any parade, is
a pretty big deal for all of us. I am thrilled to be a part of it with my
family.

"They invited the whole family to ride in the float," he added. "Helen of
Troy, which owns Brut, who sponsors the Funny Car I drive for Don Schumacher
Racing, is very involved in the city of El Paso, so for us to be part of
this parade on behalf of Helen of Troy and Brut is pretty cool. We get to do
the parade, then fly back home to Carlsbad, Calif., where we're going to
spend Thanksgiving Day with Shelley's mom and dad."

Capps and the Brut Revolution Dodge Charger will be at the FirstLight
Federal Credit Union branch at 9993 Kenworthy in El Paso from 5-6 p.m. on
Wednesday, Nov. 22. Capps will be signing autographs and taking pictures
with fans the day before the FirstLight Federal Credit Union Sun Bowl
Parade.

Review Stand tickets for the parade can be purchased at any FirstLight
Federal Credit Union branch office, Good Time store location or at the Sun
Bowl Association office. This year's parade theme is "America¹s Decades."

Brut is the title sponsor for the Brut Sun Bowl Presented by the NEW BRUT
REVOLUTION, which will play on Dec. 29, 2006, at noon at Sun Bowl Stadium in
El Paso.
