Billy Glidden was injured on Monday, February 21, 2017, when severe tireshake forced his Pro Modified 2010 Mustang in the retaining wall during a run while testing at Orlando Speed World Dragway. 

Glidden was knocked unconscious in the accident, and was diagnosed with five broken ribs and bruised lungs. 

Glidden spent four days in Orlando Regional Hospital. A GoFundMe page has been established by Glidden's friends to assist with medical expenses.
