Word has it there was another rash of break-ins in the sportsman pits, this time at the NHRA Gatornationals. Apparently a Super Gas racer was in his motorhome when the alleged thief entered. Apparently the racer and the would-be thief scuffled with the perp getting a little roughed up. Apparently he had seven other wallets in his possession when he was turned over to authorities. You might recall a couple of years ago when a similar ring hit the NHRA event in Charlotte but was quickly deterred when the victim allegedly held the perp via his hand UNDER the motorhome tire until the authorities arrived.
