STEELERS RB STALEY TO FIELD TWO-CAR PRO STOCK

reported two weeks ago, Pittsburgh Steelers running back Duce Staley and his
newly formed Catch 22 Motorsports team will field a pair of Pro Stock entries in
the 2007 NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series. The cars will be wheeled by former
two-time NHRA Pro Stock champion Jim Yates and past IHRA standout Billy
Gibson.

Staley grew up watching professional drag racing with his father.
Now he has the opportunity to participate first-hand as an owner with the
formation of Catch 22 Motorsports.

TROY COUGHLIN ON XM RADIO TONIGHT

Mail Order Chevy Cavalier will be a call-in guest on Power Shift.  Troy
will talk about his quest for the 2006 NMCA Pro Street championship and answer
questions from listeners.  This daily fan call-in show hosted by Joe Costello
discusses the issues and opinions on all things in the world of motor
sports.  Joe is known for his "No holds barred" opinions while maintaining a
sense of humor about his favorite motor sports.  The show air's weekdays at

BRUCE LITTON RETURNS HOME

Thanks to the generosity of
longtime friend Paul Romine, Bruce Litton returned home to Indianapolis to
undergo skin graft treatments to his right arm. Litton was involved in an
accident on Sunday in Epping, NH. He was in a Boston hospital recovering from
injuries sustained.

SEAN MIFSUD MARCHES TO THE BEAT OF A DIFFERENT DRUM

Australia’s Sean Mifsud is attempting to do
something that has not been accomplished in quite a long while. He wants to
prove the naysayers wrong by first qualifying for and then attempting to go
several rounds in the ultra-competitive Australian Top Doorslammer class. That’s
not so unusual unless you take into consideration that he wants to do it with an
Alan Johnson wedge-headed Oldsmobile combination topped with a roots blower.

KNOLL DONATES TO YOUNG LIFE

During the Mac Tools U.S.
Nationals, Evan Knoll, owner and operator of Knoll Gas - Torco Race Fuels and is
one of the largest sponsors in drag racing, presented to Mike Edwards and Young
Life a check in the amount of $10,000 to sends kids to camp.

"I made this contribution not for recognition for myself but
rather to draw attention to the great things Young Life provides for the at risk
children of this world," Knoll said.

MOHEGAN SUN, ATHEY AT YANKEE STADIUM FOR GOOD CAUSE

Paul Athey, driver of the
Mohegan Sun Pro Mod, is set to appear at Yankee Stadium tonight representing the
Mohegan Sun Casino. Mohegan Sun, through a charitable partnership with the New
York Yankees, raised $37,750 towards finding a cure for Muscular Dystrophy.
Mohegan Sun donates $150 for every double play the Bronx Bombers turn during the
season. During the 2005 season that turned out to be 151 double plays.

“I’m really excited to be part of the presentation,” Athey said.

Fuller nearly lost his mom Cathy to liver disease. Fellow Top Fuel pro David
Baca had a big scare when doctors discovered his father-in-law Frank Gau had a
faulty artery in his heart. Both are alive today thanks to someone's unselfish
decision to become an organ and tissue donor.

ROCKINGHAM EXTENDS COMMITMENT TO IHRA SERIES THROUGH 2011

the future of the two IHRA eMax Series events presently contested at the

JACK BECKMAN TO REPLACE WHIT BAZEMORE AT DON SCHUMACHER RACING

Don Schumacher announced today
that NHRA Super Comp champion and Top Fuel racer Jack Beckman will replace Funny
Car driver Whit Bazemore at this weekend's Toyo Tires NHRA Nationals at Maple
Grove Raceway in Reading, Pa., and for the remainder of the 2006 POWERade Drag
Racing Series.

Beckman, 40, of North Hills, Calif., recently earned his
NHRA Funny Car license driving the Matco Tools Funny Car, which will retain the
Matco Tools sponsorship through the end of 2006.
