Clay Millican will be the driver of the Top Fuel dragster owned by Rick Ware Racing [RWR], starting this weekend at the Dodge Power Brokers NHRA U.S. Nationals. The Top Fuel team joins a portfolio that includes teams in the NASCAR Cup Series, Indycar, IMSA Sportscar, and World Supercross programs. The Top Fuel team will be based in Mooresville, N.C., sharing a footprint within RWR’s headquarters.

Ware purchased the Top Fuel assets of the Stringer Performance team.

With Millican, Ware gets a driver with proven credentials which include three NHRA Top Fuel wins, 19 NHRA final-round appearances, and six IHRA Top Fuel Championships. 

RWR will continue the sponsorship of Parts Plus, a member of The Pronto Network, and all its members and employees to the team and promote the brand across  its platforms in motorsports. Parts Plus will serve as an associate sponsor on the number 51 Nurtec Honda Indycar driven by Takuma Sato and the number 15 Jacob Companies/Parts Plus Ford Mustang NASCAR Cup Series entry, driven by JJ Yeley.
