John Force Racing [JFR] has confirmed that one of their Funny Cars will perform a burnout prior to the start of the NASCAR Coca-Cola World 600 at Lowe's Motor Speedway [LMS] later this month.

John Force Racing [JFR] has confirmed that one of their Funny Cars will perform a burnout prior to the start of the NASCAR Coca-Cola World 600 at Lowe's Motor Speedway [LMS] later this month.

The newest team driver, Mike Neff, will burn out on pit road in his Old Spice Funny Car.

LMS once held a national event drag race in 1974 under the IHRA sanction. The event was contested on an eighth-mile basis.

A national event drag strip is currently under construction on the grounds of LMS. The inaugural NHRA Carolinas Nationals is scheduled September 11 - 14, 2008.
