More than 500 drivers will be showing their stuff at The Grove May 14-15 when Rich Christensen and his gang tape their highly successful Speed TV show.

Those who want to watch all the action can still buy spectator tickets. Considering the high demand from both racers and fans to attend “Pinks,” people wishing to take in the proceedings are urged to purchase their tickets in advance. Tickets can be purchased through the Maple Grove website, www.maplegroveraceway.com.

Around 12,000 racers attempted to register to compete in “Pinks” Feb. 1, causing the servers for both The Grove and its ticket company to crash. Those who weren’t able to register had another chance with the Last Chance Lotto. More than 1,000 racers put their hats into the ring for the final 50 slots.
