Larry Dixon's 3.767, 322.11 blast on Tuesday afternoon's Al-Anabi Racing test session at Palm Beach International Raceway [PBIR] led the second day of nitro testing. The run eclipsed both ends of the current NHRA world records.

Don Schumacher Racing drivers Tony Schumacher [3.78] and Cory McClenathan [3.79] had runs in the 3.70s on Tuesday.
Among the floppers, it was Jeff Arend that was the quickest as he drove the Kalitta Motorsports Funny Car to a 4.13 elapsed time at 272 miles per hour.
