Pro Street drag racing legend Pat Musi has just taken delivery of a brand new Dodge Stratus from Jerry Bickel Race Cars.

Musi was previously scheduled to race a 1953 Corvette but according to him, gave up on the project when construction delays made it apparent he wouldn't get the car anytime soon.

"I had sponsor obligations so I called Jerry Bickel to build a new car," Musi said.

"I had sponsor obligations so I called Jerry Bickel to build a new car," Musi said.

As it turned out, Bickel had a Dodge Stratus under construction that had been cancelled by its intended owner.

"He gave me a great deal on it," said Musi of the Stratus he plans to run in Pro Modified. "I can't say enough about the quality of work on this car and the great customer service I received from Jerry Bickel Race Cars. He really bailed me out this time, had a car ready when I was in a bind."

Musi is sponsored by Edelbrock, Jesel, Moroso, Manley, Venolia, Trend, GRP, Sonny's Racing, MSD and Dart.

Musi plans to announce his first race with the new car soon.
