NHRA and Ticketmaster have partnered to eliminate ticket convenience fees for the 55th annual Mac Tools U.S. Nationals presented by Lucas Oil, the world’s most prestigious drag race, held Labor Day weekend, Sept.2-7, at historic O’Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis.

Fans purchasing tickets to the most historic event on the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing series and the much-anticipated final race in the Countdown to 10, NHRA’s regular season, through Ticketmaster will not have to pay the convenience fees usually associated with Ticketmaster purchases. A ticket delivery fee may apply depending on which delivery option the ticket buyer selects.

“This is another step in our ongoing fan relief effort,” said Ron Anderson, general manager, O’Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis. “This is a step that both NHRA and Ticketmaster are taking to help drag racing fans eliminate some of the worry that may come with purchasing tickets. We’re grateful to have a strong relationship with Ticketmaster and glad that we can bring some relief and help to our devoted followers.”

Fans planning on attending this year’s Mac Tools U.S. Nationals will also find that the Race Fan Relief program held at NHRA Full Throttle events in Pomona, Gainesville, and Atlanta, will be available at O’Reilly Raceway Park. Fans may purchase the $20 general admission tickets for any day by calling (800) 884-NHRA or via Ticketmaster.com with the password “Relief.” Only 1,500 tickets per day will be available. Also, kids 12 and under will be admitted free to the general admission areas during the event.

Similar to many other tracks on the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Schedule, Friday will be free military day. Active duty military may present an ID at the ticket office at O’Reilly Raceway Park on Friday and receive one free Adult Reserved ticket.
