Bernstein is currently third in the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series Top Fuel point standings.  He has appeared in three final rounds this year, having yet to win and extending a drought that has reached nearly two years.  Bernstein’s last win came in Brainerd, Minn. in 2007.   Beckman is in the midst of a heated Funny Car points battle, sitting fifth after the first eight races.    Kraweic, who won the Full Throttle Series world championship in Pro Stock Motorcycle last year despite not winning an event, claimed his first career victory earlier this year in Atlanta.  He followed that up with a win in St. Louis and currently is at the top of the series points standings in the two-wheel category, 16 points ahead of North Carolina-native Matt Smith.

As part of their visit, the three will be promoting the upcoming NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series event at zMAX Dragway, across the street from Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Concord, N.C., Sept. 17-20.   For more information about tickets for the Second Annual NHRA Nationals at zMAX Dragway, call the track’s ticket office number, (800) 455-FANS (3267).
