HUNTSVILLE GREAT AMERICAN RACE COMES TO NO PROBLEM RACEWAY NEXT WEEKEND

BracketNews.com will present the richest race in the history of Gulf Coast bracket racing next weekend, as the Huntsville Engine Great American Race rolls into No Problem Raceway in Belle Rose, LA. The event, which features a $50,000 grand prize for Saturday’s winner will be contested on the 1/8th mile at No Problem Raceway throughout the holiday weekend.

Friday’s opening event will feature a $5,000 winners purse, with the $50,000-to-win main event taking center stage on Saturday. The weekend will close out with a $10,000-to-win event on Sunday. Weekend entry for competitors is $700. The event will feature buybacks in the first or second round of competition for the fee of $75 (Friday), $300 (Saturday), and $100 (Sunday). In addition to the huge purses paid in the main event and surrounding races, the Great American Race will also host a special 32-car Dragster Shootout presented by American Race Cars and Luke Bogacki Race Services. This special shootout features an elite 32-car field. The entry fee is $1,000, and the winner of the 5-round event takes home a brand new 2009 American Race Cars Dragster. The car is a complete roller; with wheels, tires, axles, brakes, all the latest electronics, and has been wired and assembled by the professionals at Luke Bogacki Race Services. Aside from the Box class, No Box competitors will also have an opportunity to cash in at the Great American Race. No Box will compete each day of the event, with a $1,000 winners purse on Friday and Sunday book ending a $2,000-to-win race as part of Saturday’s main event. The weekend entry in No Box is $175, with daily buy backs (1st or 2nd round) for the fee of $40 (Friday and Sunday) and $50 (Saturday).
