Hughes Performance has announced the availability of our new Xtreme Transmission Fluid. Blended exclusively for Hughes Performance by High Performance Lubricants. Formulated around a high quality synthetic Type F additive package, which has a long track record of success in drag racing. Some of the key features are listed below.

•    Hughes Street Strip Transmission Fluid provides positive shifts while maintaining excellent anti wear protection to the transmission.   
•    Outstanding thermal stability making it highly resistant to premature burning or loss of effective additives.  Increased thermal stability also promotes more consistent viscosity throughout a wider range of operating temperatures.  This translates into improved converter function at higher temperatures thus resulting in improved consistency of vehicle performance as well as improved converter operating efficiency.
•    High rate of heat transfer which increases cooling ability of transmission and converter
•    Unique high pressure additives that prevent fluid shearing, all of which promotes increased sprag and roller clutch longevity as well as reduced wear in gear teeth, thrust washers, bushings, and bearings  (this fluid will NOT contribute to sprag or roller clutch skidding or failure)
•    Use of super premium additives including unique friction modifiers, high pressure additives, and anti-foaming agents promotes significantly longer fluid life as compared to virtually all other commonly available ATF’s.  Service intervals with our fluid can go longer whether it’s a bracket car, or a Pro Mod. 
•     This fluid is highly resistant to foaming, making it a great choice for off-road racing and Monster truck applications where the fluid is getting violently sloshed around during competition.
•    This fluid will blend with literally any other fluid type or brand.  There is no concern what so ever with mixing our fluid and another fluid.  It was blended with this characteristic in mind so that customers could easily service currently operating transmissions and torque converters by installing our fluid without fear of creating a problem by blending our fluid with residual fluids that are already present in their transmission or converter.  
•    This fluid is acceptable for use in all HUGHES automatic transmissions and torque converters.  The formula of the fluid is built around the use of aggressive aftermarket friction materials being used in the transmission as well as more aggressive shift calibrations in the valve body and higher line pressure as per Hughes build spec.  This fluid is compatible with other non-Hughes performance-oriented and racing transmission builds as well, but is not intended for use as a replacement fluid for OEM unmodified transmission applications.  Customers with OEM unmodified transmissions should be using OEM-replacement ATF.
