FEEDBACK FRIDAY - CHANGES NEEDED ELSEWHERE

FEEDBACK ARTICLE - STRAIGHT AHEAD by Jeff Wolf

I have been around drag racing since the early sixtys as a fan and crew member. If NHRA really wants to make some positive changes I suggest that they go back to the 90% Nitro rule and require a lower (numerically higher) rear end ratio. This should put less strain on the clutch pack and the cars should go quicker but not necessarly faster. This rear end deal might need some tweaking (i.e. rev limiter) but it could work.
