Following two successful exhibition performances, one of which produced a 16-car field, the word floating around in prominent circles suggests the Mountain Motor Pro Stock schedule which now stands at four, could expand to include six events in 2020. What is being bantered around is the schedule for the 500-inch Pro Stock cars could be reduced to 16 events for next season. Before the doomsayers begin proclaiming the end is near for 500-inch Pro Stock, keep in mind the original 2019 500-inch schedule was supposed to be 16 but was expanded by two to accommodate sponsorship contracts already in place.
