For the last decade or so, the face of NHRA Pro Modified has been the Real Pro Modified group. The group in charge of managing the series has been the Real Pro Modified Association, and we are told by multiple sources the group has disbanded. After years of "paying to play" apparently the NHRA will now take over the series. But then again, there is talk of another group of racers banding together to ensure the future of the division. This is a developing story, so we'll have official news as it breaks.
