The trees add more than beauty at the middle stop on the Western Swing: They emit tons of power-enhancing oxygen to feed the appetites of the high-horsepower machines, resulting in prime performances.

First introduced to the IHRA Knoll Gas Nitro Jam tour in 2000, this
annual visit to the Luke Huron region represents one of two visits to
the beautiful province of Ontario. The Mopar Canadian Nationals
provided the foundation for an IHRA Canadian tour that has now
increased to three.

The second half of the season kicks off with the first of three
consecutive weekends of racing and one of its greatest challenges.
Teams travel high and deep into the Rocky Mountains to more than 5,800
feet, where the altitude affects everything from engine tune-ups to
aerodynamics.
