Nostalgia Fuel Funny Car owner Justin Grant, of Bloomington, Ind., will
reproduce one of the most exciting and
visually stunning Nostalgia Fuel Funny
Cars of its time: the 1970's 'Cuda
Stardust Nitro Funny Car.

The car,
raced by Don Schumacher to an unequaled record in match races across the
country - along with other cars he raced in the '70s that were
dubbed
"Stardust" - is a tribute to one of the biggest icons in the sport,
says
Grant. It will be driven by Joe Haas, of Findlay, Ill., in the Nostalgia Pro
Comp Association (NPCA) and other nostalgia-racing events in
2007. NHRA Funny
Car racer Dale Pulde is the technical advisor and "remote
crew chief" on the
car, according to Grant.

ADRL CHAMPIONSHIPS DECIDED

STANTON, BAKER CLAIM 2006 ADRL CHAMPIONSHIPS

They might have taken different routes to get there, but Bubba
Stanton and Keith Baker both ended up  right where they wanted to be Friday
night: in the Texas Raceway  winner's circle, celebrating their 2006
FLOWMASTER American Drag  Racing League world championships after winning
their respective  Battle for the Belts eliminators.Stanton (Pro
Extreme) and Baker (Pro Nitrous) each turned away seven other would-be
champions to win their first ADRL titles and put the  final touches on the
2006 ADRL season. The GetWorkComp.com World  Finals continue Saturday with
two rounds of qualifying and 16-car
eliminators in both Pro Extreme and Pro
Nitrous, with any points earned during the day counting toward the 2007
ADRL standings.

Stanton was the last man entered into the Pro Extreme
field, filling  in the No. 8 qualifying spot as the competition's second
alternate.  He used the opportunity to put together by far his best-ever
showing in ADRL competition, opening with a stunning 3.897 to oust points
leader Jason Scruggs, following up with a 3.921 to hold off 2005 Pro
Extreme champion John Lynam (3.964) in a good semifinals race, then
posting a 3.914 to turn back Joshua Hernandez (3.954) in the
final.

ADRL WRAPS UP 2006 IN KENNEDALE

Two days of eighth-mile Pro  Modified racing
action at Texas Raceway will both bring an end to the FLOWMASTER American Drag
Racing League's 2006 season and serve as the  beginning of the 2007

AMERICAN DRAGSTER ON DVD

COMPLETE AMERICAN DRAGSTER FIRST-SEASON DVD AVAILABLE NOW

file000.jpgNew Rule Productions today announced the
availability of a DVD of the first season of the popular ESPN2 reality show,
American Dragster, featuring Ron Capps, driver of the Brut Revolution Dodge
Funny Car, and Top Fuel champion Tony Schumacher, in the U.S. Army Top Fuel
dragster.

This DVD features the complete 2005 season of these drivers
each fighting for a championship in their respective categories and includes all
the tense, exciting and dramatic moments and behind-the-scenes footage, both on
and off the track.

"This DVD is the result of a lot of hard work and
dedication by the production crew and drag racing teams," says Ryan Johnson,
Director/Executive Producer. "It took an amazing effort to create an entirely
new TV show about NHRA POWERade drag racing. It's the first of its kind and
we're pleased how well it did.

"The great thing about the DVD is that
you can watch the shows back to back and really begin to see the overall
storyline in a way that most fans didn't see when it was broadcast on ESPN2.
It's a fast-moving series, and viewers will pick up details and comments that
they missed the first time. There's really a lot of action and emotion packed in
those half-hour shows!

KATE HARKER EYES TAD RANKS

Prior to moving to the United States this year, aspiring Aussie NHRA Top
Alcohol Dragster driver Kate Harker just thought she had the urge to compete in
NHRA's third fastest category.  After making successful laps at the Frank Hawley
Drag Racing School behind the wheel of one of his Blown Alcohol Dragsters, then
finishing her license in Tom Conway's World Championship winning A/Fuel
Dragster, Harker's desire to compete is greater than ever.

The 23 year old
daughter of Aussie Top Alcohol Funny Car standout Steve Harker has her eye set
on joining the tour in 2007, and as if one Aussie "Shiela" wasn't enough, she'll
be joined by her identical twin sister Diana next year as well.

Kate
and Diana aren't your run of the mill twenty something that just wants to drive
for the limelight.  Rather, they are true competitors at the heart who have
worked their way up the Australian sportsman ranks and look forward to the
challenge of competiting in the U.S. next year.
