Over the last year, drag racing has been hit hard by a worldwide pandemic.

CompetitionPlus.com has learned a sense of normalcy will return next February, when the traditional NHRA season opener will return to mid-February, with the Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals, scheduled for February 17 - 20, 2022, at Auto Club Raceway in Pomona, Ca.

The historic Pomona track sees two of NHRA’s most significant events on tour: the NHRA Winternationals and the season-ending Auto Club NHRA Finals.

NHRA is expected to make the official announcement soon.
