FTI SFG 350 RETURNS TO IMPROVED CEDAR FALLS MOTORSPORTS PARK

SFG Promotions, Inc. is excited to return to an improved Cedar Falls Motorsports Park for the FTI SFG 350 presented by JEGS June 3-5, 2021. Back again this year, racers will have the opportunity to race for $125,000 over three days of life-changing money bracket racing. Thursday’s $25,000-to-win race sponsored by JEGS will kick things off before twin $50,000-to-win races come to life Friday and Saturday which are sponsored by FuelTech and Hansen Global Inc. respectively.

Cedar Falls Motorsports Park has also made some facility improvements to help welcome back the FTI SFG 350 presented by JEGS. We were able to sit down with Cedar Falls Motorsports Park General Manager, Justin Kruse, to go over all of the exciting improvements.

Throughout the past couple of months, the return road has been patched and smoothed out, Compulink dial-in boards on the starting line have been added, and all guardrails through the quarter-mile have been replaced with placeable concrete barriers. They have also widened a road in the pit area that was prone to flooding. More improvements are planned for the future as well.

"Racers have stepped up to help with these track improvements by donating supplies and lending a hand to get the job done," Kruse said. “Many of our local bracket racers have stepped up to help make our facility be what they want their home track to be.”

This will be the third time that Cedar Falls Motorsports Park has hosted an SFG Promotions event.

Kruse said, “Having an SFG Promotions bracket race at Cedar Falls Motorsports Park has been a blessing. It truly is a great deal for a small local track and it gives our local racers a great opportunity to race for big money”.

SFG Promotions’ CEO, Kyle Riley said, “SFG always tries to support tracks that continue to invest in making their facilities better. Watching the updates and stories of how the track and local competitors have come together to give CFMP some great upgrades has been awesome! We are excited to be back in Iowa to bring more SFG bracket racing to the community there that continues to support us”.

Last year's FTI SFG 350 winners included Hunter Patton, Matt Dadas, and Nick Hastings.

If you can’t make it to the track to witness the FTI SFG 350 in person, MotorMania TV will be on the property live-streaming the action starting Thursday afternoon. The feed will be on CompetitionPlusTV.com.
