FEEDBACK ARTICLE – ED MCCULLOCH PLANS TO RETIRE FROM RACING

What a guy Ed the ace is. I met him years ago when he was at the Gold cup races in Detroit with Steve Woomer’s Camel race team. I think he may have been shopping Camel for drags..I told him I was a huge fan of his and how i built the Revolution model as a kid!  He asked for my address. I figured ok. A month later I recieved a care package with shirt, hat ,stickers. What a great class act. - Rick Rzepka

Having been involved in drag racing for many years I see that racing has changed for the worst. It's too much pressure to win. Winning is great but it's not the end of the world to lose. There has to be a loser. Somewhere we lost the fun of the sport. That and needing big money is why I quit. These crew chiefs MUST win or they face the wrath of the sponsor and the owner. Such a shame to see another ICON leave something they love. - Tim Gannon
