PERFORMANCE BY FISHER RACING ADDS LUCAS OIL PRODUCTS TO THE MIX

Lucas Oil will usher Top Dragster into this new era, continuing their multi-year backing of the class. Lucas Oil is known for their unmatched support in motorsports, going above and beyond to support teams, series and events, continually pushing the industry forward. It’s fitting, then, that Lucas Oil will be the name that takes Top Dragster into its next phase.
“I am still a big fan of this class,” stated Lucas Oil’s Tom Bogner. “I believe great growth potential as these cars run all over the country. It’s a perfect place for quality lubricants like Lucas Oil. These are big horsepower cars utilizing a variety of power adders, as well as large cubic inch engines. I find it much more rewarding supporting classes that can benefit from our Lucas oil products and Top Dragster is a great fit.

Kathy and Kevin Fisher recently added Lucas Oil Products to the Performance by Fisher Racing stable. The new partnership also includes offering trackside support, as well as a full array of Lucas Oil Products, at each of the eight stops on the 2018 PDRA tour.
The Fishers are heading into 2018 following one of their strongest seasons to date, which included winning the 2017 PDRA Indy Showdown Top Dragster crown and ultimately finishing 3rd in the PDRA Lucas Oil Top Dragster standings.
“We are delighted to represent Lucas Oil and going forward, we truly feel that this association will strengthen our already solid program,” said Kathy, driver of the team’s Top Dragster entry. “Not only will we now offer the entire Lucas line of products at our shop, Performance by Fisher, Inc. but with the new relationship, we can now provide product and support at all PDRA events.”
The team is also looking forward to utilizing Lucas Oil Products throughout their entire racing operation.
“This is a perfect opportunity to work closely with the Lucas team and we hope to provide valuable feedback on the various lubricants that we will be using,” stated Kevin. “Lucas offers such a vast product line. There is something for everything from our tow rig, support vehicles and of course, end-to-end on the dragster.”
2018 will mark the third season for Lucas Oil Products support of PDRA’s Top Dragster class.
“PDRA is growing,” noted Duane LaFleur, Business Development of High Performance with Lucas Oil Products. “And with that, we have a huge potential to grow the Lucas Oil brand in the PDRA organization. We feel this is a customer base that we can service and take care of.”
“By having Performance by Fisher representing and being affiliated with Lucas Oil Products, we are going to be able to do something that we haven’t been able to over the past couple of seasons and that’s be on hand during every PDRA event,” LaFleur added. “This will allow Lucas Oil to better service the PDRA teams and fans by having the Fisher’s at each of the races and that is very important to us.”
