Ven Eman's Aruba Tourism-sponsored Pro Stock team held an open house on Wednesday, April 16, 2008, for the hundreds of race fans seeking a tour of what promises to be the first of many race teams expected to migrate to Union County in South Carolina. Local officials have rolled out the red carpet in an effort to make the Union County Industrial Park the southern equivalent of Brownburg, Indiana.

The day long affair kept a packed house all day long.

Union's mayor Bruce Morgan has been a staunch supporter of bringing motorsports to his area. A new drag strip is presently under construction with visions of a national event in the future.

Henny Eman, former Prime Minister of Aruba, addressed the attendees.

Jon Kaase was in attendance on Wednesday. Could one imagine the impact the area would receive if Kaase were to relocate?

Event coordinator Ven Eman is the owner of the Team Aruba Pro Stocker driven by his son Trevor Eman.
