CompetitionPlus has learned veteran nitro Funny Car driver Bob Tasca III will be competing in four NHRA national events during the 2016 season in his Ford Mustang.

Tasca is expected to announce what exact races he's going to compete at this season in the near future. He competed at two races last year - the Four Wide Nationals in Charlotte, N.C., and the event in Epping, N.H.

Tasca ran fulltime in NHRA from 2008-2014, winning four career national events. He placed a career- best fifth in the points in 2010.
