There are rumors floating around of a large format, extremely high end coffee table photography based book in the planning stages documenting the history of one of the sport's most prolific team owners. Apparently, the person heading up the project is planning to cycle through the files of many of the sports top photogs for the very best images of the sport dating back to the mid 50's. Other details of the book are not forthcoming, although we have heard that when it becomes available to the public in 2014, it will be in very limited numbers, making it a possible collectors item from the word go. Maybe a waiting list is in order – as it sounds like it might be one of the best and most sought after pieces of drag racing history and story telling ever produced. More as we get it.
