WORLD WIDE TECHNOLOGY RACEWAY RELEASES DRAG STRIP SCHEDULE FOR MAY AND JUNE


World Wide Technology Raceway in Madison, Illinois – as an outdoor recreation venue – will be hosting participant events during May and June of 2020. WWTR is following the guidelines for Phase 3 of the Restore Illinois Plan that was issued on May 24, 2020, and will go into effect on Friday, May 29, 2020.  All social-distancing guidelines will be strictly enforced for the following events:
 
May
29 (Friday) – Participant-only: Welcome Back Bracket Bash, Day 1 (Test ‘n’ Tune and Shootout).
30 (Saturday) – Participant-only: Welcome Back Bracket Bash, Day 2.
31 (Sunday) – Participant-only: Welcome Back Bracket Bash, Day 3.
 
June
3 (Wednesday) – Participant-only event: Wide Open Wednesday (5:30-10:30 p.m.).
5 (Friday) – Participant-only event: Operation Street-legal Drags (6:30 p.m.-Midnight).
6 (Saturday) – Participant-only event: June E.T. Jamboree, Day 1.
7 (Sunday) – Participant-only event: June E.T. Jamboree, Day 2.
10 (Wednesday) – Participant-only event: Wide Open Wednesday (5:30-10:30 p.m.).
12 (Friday) -- Midnight Madness No. 1: Drag racing and drifting participant event (7 p.m.-1 a.m.).
13 (Saturday) – Participant-only event: ET Bracket Series and Jr. Dragster point races No. 1.
17 (Wednesday) – Participant-only event: Wide Open Wednesday.
19 (Friday) – Mid-West Pro Mod Series qualifying (6-11 p.m.) Pay-per-view event.
20 (Saturday) – Participant-only event: ET Bracket Series and Jr. Dragster point races No. 2; Mother Road Nostalgia Bracket (one class).
20 (Saturday) – Mid-West Pro Mod Series Heads-Up Hootenanny Finals – Pay-per-view event.
21 (Sunday) – Open.
24 (Wednesday) – Participant-only event: Wide Open Wednesday; High School class points race No. 1.
26 (Friday) – Midnight Madness No. 2: Drag racing and drifting participant event (7 p.m.-1 a.m.).
27 (Saturday) – Participant-only event: ET Bracket Series and Jr. Dragster Series Races No. 3.
28 (Sunday) – Participant-only event: SCCA solo.
 
July
1 (Wednesday) – Wide Open Wednesday; High School class points race No. 2.
