Steve Harker, the 2014 Top Alcohol Funny Car champion from Gainesville, Ga., was involved in an accident  during qualifying for the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals in Norwalk, Ohio.

Harker's 2015 Chevy Camaro went out of control and made contact with the right retaining wall. 

Harker was alert, concious and responding to commands from the Safety Safari. He was transported via air to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio for further evaluation.
