TOTAL SEAL, ROTTLER HOST TRACKSIDE TECH TALK FRIDAY MORNING AT HARTFORD PRO STOCK PIT

Pro Stock Countdown to the Championship contender Matt Hartford is inviting anyone attending the NHRA’s FallNationals at Texas Motorplex this Friday to stop by his pit area at 11:30 a.m. to learn honing and cylinder sealing – straight from the authorities at Total Seal and Rottler Manufacturing.

This edition of Trackside Tech Talk offers a special chance to learn from experts Keith Jones of Total Seal Piston Rings and Ed Kiebler of Rottler Manufacturing and benefit from direct contact with the experts on the subject. They plan to discuss a broad range of topics and will answer questions.

For nearly 20 years, Jones has provided technical support globally for Total Seal, which supplies piston rings to some of the quickest and fastest race cars on the planet. His expertise comes from working with race teams and engine builders not only in drag racing but also in such motorsport sanctions as NASCAR, the NTT IndyCar Series, FIA Moto GP, World of Outlaws sprint cars, and the GT sports car racing series.

Kiebler has nearly 50 years of experience with the fabrication/production, assembly, and sales of automotive engine remanufacturing. And he has spent more than 35 focusing on honing. Like Jones at Total Seal, Kiebler has traveled extensively to solve issues and visit with customers as they have shared their engine-rebuilding plans and projects across a variety of motorsport forms.

Rottler Manufacturing is based at Kent, Wash., near Pacific Raceways.

Hartford is President and CEO of Phoenix-headquartered Total Seal Piston Rings, in addition to racing in the Camping World Drag Racing Series.

The invitation is open Friday to anyone attending the Stampede of Speed event at the dragstrip south of Dallas. It’s the fourth of seven Countdown races.

Hartford plans to host another Trackside Tech Talk at the Oct. 29-31 national event at the Las Vegas Nationals.
