TEAM KALITTA, GLOBAL ELECTRONIC SUPPORT FOR NFF

Team Kalitta and Global Electronic Technology are teaming up again to work with the Never Forgotten Foundation (NFF) to help underprivileged and at-risk families this holiday season. The two companies are teaming up with Ytel to offer NHRA fans the chance to donate via text and also win prizes for their generosity. Fans can text “NFF” to 411-411 and they will receive information and instructions for the Race 2 Fight Hunger. For every $5 donated fans receive an entry into a raffle for racing themed prizes including race tickets and autographed merchandise.

“This year we aim to deliver hope, help, and over 100,000 meals to the less fortunate in our community,” said Steve and Samantha Bryson, Global Electronic Technology. “With the help of Team Kalitta as well as all our NHRA fans we know we can make an impact. All money received goes directly to the people. We have zero administrative overhead and have never taken a penny to pay for any costs of running the foundation.”

Last year the Brysons donated two box trucks full of food as well as household items and toys for children. Team Kalitta also participated through in-kind donations. The NFF is a 501(c) non-profit organization founded by Steve Bryon and his family with the simple and sole purpose of bringing a smile to the face of those less fortunate. The passion to bring aid to the less fortunate is not uncommon in the Bryson household.

Fans can begin donating immediately and Team Kalitta is also running decals with the donation information on Shawn Langdon’s nitro Funny Car. Donations will be collected through Thanksgiving.

“We are very excited to be supporting Never Forgotten Foundation again this year,” said Shawn Langdon, driver of the Global Electronic Technology Toyota Camry. “We want to give the fans a chance to donate and also give them a chance to win a nice prize for their support. The Brysons are very generous people and I think what they have been doing for so many families across Southern California and around the world for over a decade is pretty amazing.”

The foundation supports those in need all over the country. NFF is ready to help ensure that no one becomes a statistic or becomes forgotten. Over the years the NFF has provided hundreds of thousands of meals to the Long Beach and Orange County Rescue Missions in addition to truckloads of non-perishable personal items for those in need.

From Southern California to wherever the need arises, the NFF has sprung to action and committed substantial resources to help those in need when they needed it the most. In 2015 the foundation began to help underprivileged kids who have aged out of the foster care program stay in college by providing California University State, Long Beach (CSULB) with multiple levels of support.
