TAD RACER HANSSEN TRANSPORTED FOLLOWING CRASH
Thu, 2019-11-14 21:09
During the first round of qualifying at the Auto Club NHRA Nationals in Pomona, Calif., Top Alcohol Dragster driver Fred Hanssen’s 1997 Hadman dragster crossed the center line then made contact with the wall before coming to a rest on its side.
The incident was apparently caused by a tire failure which then took out the wing.
Hanssen was alert and responsive. He was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation.
