Stevie Jackson prides himself in pulling off the impossible.

For the decorated Pro Modified racer turned Radial Vs. The World standout, racing the upcoming Duck X Productions No Mercy 9 event September 27 - 29, 2018 is going to be impossible.

Jackson lamented his inability to race at the popular event hosted by South Georgia Motorsports Park.

"With NHRA races the weekend before in St Louis, and the weekend after in Dallas, there is simply no way for me to convert the Shadow to radial trim between them," Jackson explained. "I hate not running this race. We look forward to it and prepare for it all year, But after the Charlotte crash, the Shadow is my NHRA horse for the rest of the season.

"I will be in attendance supporting Duck and his event and I look forward to seeing you all there. I apologize to the fans that have already made plans to watch us compete. After October, the Shadow will be a radial car again and I can’t wait! Thanks you yall’s continued support of our team."

Jackson drove the Shadow 2.0 to the Pro Modified title two weeks ago at the Chevrolet Performance NHRA U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis.
