SPEEDMASTER APPOINTS VIC WOOD VP OF SALES - NORTH AMERICA


 
Speedmaster is a rapidly expanding manufacturing and distribution company with offices in Sydney, Los Angeles and Shanghai. To strengthen its brand recognition and market share, CEO of Speedmaster Jason Kencevski, has appointed well-known Aftermarket identity Vic Wood as North American Vice President of Sales, effective immediately. In his new role, brings four decades of experience in the performance aftermarket.
 
Wood 67, (a native Australian) will be the “face of Speedmaster” In the US and will represent the Speedmaster brand at all levels of Sales and distribution. “I am really looking forward to the challenge,” said Wood, who makes his home in Kansas City Kansas, “the range of products within the scope of Speedmaster is outstanding and the fact that we have products to suit the weekend hot rodder all the way to the highest levels of performance gives us something for all tastes and needs” To represent an Aussie company at this stage of my career makes me very proud”

Founded in 1979 with Pete’s Performance, which was a small speed workshop, it began by building engines for customers as a hobby, and it has now grown to include selling, assembling, manufacturing and racing high-performance engine parts. Growing from a one-man brick-and-mortar business; to now a supply chain that involves more than 400+ people across the world. Today, Pete’s Performance has evolved into the internationally known Speedmaster, which has distribution centers and offices in Sydney, Los Angeles and Shanghai.
