SPECTATORS TO BE ALLOWED FOR WOOOSTOCK 2020
Keith Berry's annual Wooostock race, an event featuring Drag Radial cars at Darlington Dragway, scored a major victory on Sunday, May 10, before the first car turned a tire under power.
Wooostock 2020, scheduled to begin Thursday, May 14, and continue through Saturday, has been given a reprieve by Darlington County health officials enabling the popular event to host spectators.
The event was originally scheduled for April 16-18, but was postponed due to local health regulations.
Admission for the event is $20 for Thursday, $25 for Friday and Saturday, with a $60 full event pass.
For the first time since the event started in 2017, Wooostock will also feature Radial vs. The World entries competing for a $15,000-to-win Prize.
Thus far, Darlington County has had 144 cases of COVID-19 and two deaths. This rate places Darlington as No. 11 in South Carolina's reported cases.
