SALINAS REWARDS CREW WITH BRAND NEW HARLEYS

Before he secured his first national event championship at the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals in Las Vegas, Salinas, of San Jose, Ca., had never won a race of any kind.

Sunday, at the NGK NHRA Four-Wide Nationals, Salinas ensured that his crew scored their second win in as many races. The victory came during the event's pre-race festivities.

Salinas rewarded his crew with new Harley-Davidson motorcycles as a bonus for the win.

As the crew walked out on stage, unbeknownst to them, Salinas let it be known as each crew member was handed a sealed t-shirt package, the one who opened a t-shirt with an official Harley-Davidson emblem on the t-shirt would take home a brand new bike.

As they stood on stage, Salinas said, "You guys are amazing; the best in the business," Salinas said, his voice cracking with emotion. "I want to show you my appreciation for what you have done for me. It's awesome."

Bottom line, they all had the emblem.

"The guys work hard," Salinas explained. "We are building something. This is what happens when you do good things. We've done pretty well in life, and we want to give back. These guys have given me something that very few people have. I really appreciate it."
