During the second round of Pro Stock Motorcycle eliminations at the DeWalt NHRA Carolina Nationals at zMAX Dragway in Charlotte, Cory Reed’s motorcycle crossed the center line past the finish line and he was thrown from his motorcycle. He appeared to make contact with Joey Gladstone; however, Gladstone maintained control of his bike and came to a stop. 

Reed made contact with the wall before coming to a stop.

Reed was conscious and examined by the NHRA medical team and will be transported to a local hospital for further evaluation.
