JOHN HALE SPONSORING TEAMS WITH BEST OF TEXAS BARBEQUE SAUCE

John Hale knows what the expense is like to run drag racing teams.

Hale runs his own Nostalgia Funny Car team and he drove a nitro Funny Car for Jim Dunn Racing in the 2016 and 2017 seasons.

Now, Hale is giving back to the racing community by sponsoring drivers through his Best of Texas Barbecue Sauce.

Hale’s Best of Texas Barbecue Sauce is going to be a sponsor on Terry Haddock’s nitro Funny Car and Top Fuel dragster at the AAA Texas FallNationals in Dallas, Oct. 14-18.

Hale said he will also sponsor a Top Fuel entry driven by Joey Haas in Dallas if Haas can get his dragster ready in time to enter the event. According to Hale, he will sponsor those cars – and a Top Fuel dragster driven by Joe Morrison – with his Best of Texas Barbecue Sauce at the Mopar Express Lane NHRA SpringNationals Presented by Pennzoil at Houston Raceway Park, Oct. 23-25.

“I’m excited to help these guys out,” Hale said. “They are fresh into the sport realizing their dreams and I’m happy to be a part of what they are doing. They reached out to me and asked if there was anything I could do to help and that it would be much appreciated. So, we spread a little a bit out over three over four cars. We get a good response from it. NHRA fans buy from the people who support NHRA racing.”

This season, Hale also has been a sponsor on Lex Joon’s Top Fuel dragster.

“I will be at the Dallas race in the pits with the different teams,” said Hale, who lives in Addison, three miles north of Dallas.
