HOERNER PLANS RETURN TO MOUNTAIN MOTOR PRO STOCKER

Longtime mountain motor Pro Stock racer Todd Hoerner announced his plans to return to competition today, climbing behind the wheel of Tommy & Paula Zarella's Jerry Bickel-built Chevrolet Camaro.

Hoerner, a driving force behind the Sonny's Racing Engines brand, will run Sonny Leonard horsepower at PDRA Extreme Pro Stock and in at least two of the special NHRA exhibitions.

"We are extremely grateful to Tommy and his wife Paula for bringing back the Camaro," Hoerner said. "We had very good luck with that car and look forward to all the competition this season.

"Also a Big thank you to TT motorsports, Jegs, Maxima oil, Total Seal, PSI Springs, Sonny's Racing Engines, Precision Racing Suspension, Big Stuff 3 and Jerry Bickel. We are excited to get back out there again."

Brian "Lump" Self will serve as the crew chief, assisted by Dewayne Neville with clutch duties as well as other responsibilities. "My wife Nicole, and daughter Kassidy will also be a big part of the team and they are so excited to be back out at the track again," Hoerner said."
