Nearly 20 years ago Bobby Bennett launched CompetitionPlus.com with a vision of bringing quality reporting to a largely unrefined world wide web. He wanted to produce quality content, which could be accessed at the click of a mouse.

This weekend, at drag racing's most prestigious event, the Chevrolet Performance NHRA U.S. Nationals will be presented in an expanded format. This herculean effort includes seven event notebooks penned by five reporters with extensive photo and video notebooks.

"It's the way Indy ought to be covered," Bennett said. "One of the first things I learned as a kid growing up in drag racing was the importance of Indy. It's an overwhelming experience which cannot be told by one person. If race teams bring their best to win this race, then I feel like we should bring our best to ensure every story is told."

Starting on Wednesday evening, CompetitionPlus.com will publish its first notebook focused on the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, authored throughout the weekend by Anthony Caruso. Also starting on Wednesday will be a video notebook focused on the niche stories throughout The Big Go.

Once the professional categories begin on Friday, notebooks for Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock, Pro Stock Motorcycle and Pro Modified will join the program.

CompetitionPlus.com and CompetitionPlusTV staff members Roger Richards, Susan Wade, Tracy Renck, Larry Crum, Jake Simmons, and Mike Burghardt will be on hand to chronicle the event's action.
