AN ACE BEATS WILKERSON, JUNGLE JIM IN ARP POLL
Ed "The Ace" McCulloch won the NHRA U.S. Nationals six times out of his 22 NHRA national event titles, but somehow a world championship eluded him. The readers of CompetitionPlus.com in the latest ARP Question of the Week believe (25-percent) that the tough-as-nails Funny car driver is the greatest to have never won a series championship.
McCulloch took the lead out of the gate and never looked back as he edged out Tim Wilkerson (22-percent) and "Jungle Jim" Liberman (15-percent).
CHECK OUT THE FINAL RESULTS
McCulloch joins Larry Morgan (Pro Stock) as the greatest drivers without a world championship.
