Keyes passed away Saturday August 5th from injuries suffered during a finish line crash at Houston Raceway Park. Mr. Keyes finished an otherwise routine time trial when his vehicle violently moved to the left and impacted the retaining wall. The cause of the incident is under investigation.

Rockey was a regular at Houston Raceway Park as well as IHRA Division 4 Mr. Gasket Pro-Am Tour events, NHRA events, and other area tracks. The entire IHRA family would like to express its deepest condolences to the Keyes' family and friends.
