During the interview Cannon Sr. will discuss his plans for the 2008 race season. "I think our listeners will be excited to hear about Scotty's plans for a two car team with his son Scott Cannon Jr." Letempt said.

Both Cannons will field identically prepared 67 Firebirds in IHRA's Torco Race Fuels Pro Modified Division with backing from longtime supporter Evan Knoll's TORCO Race Fuels.

"We aren't going to waste any time preparing for 2008" Cannon Sr. said. "I already have my new Vanishing Point racecar on the way and I’ve been on the dyno and I like what I see. I told Scott we aren't getting a vacation anytime between now and the start of the ‘08 season. We’re going to burn the candle at both ends to have our cars ready. Evan is letting me live a dream to race alongside my son next year. He deserves another championship and we want to deliver.”
