TENNESSEE RODDERS REUNION

When you’re traveling forward at breakneck speed, it’s important to know those who have traveled before you.

Clay Millican and Evan Knoll’s Top Fuel team gained that opportunity on Thursday when they attended the Memphis Rodders Reunion.

This year’s reunion featured Larry Reyes and the Hawaiian Funny car. This reunion is held every year with all the proceeds raised going to the Al Chymia Burn Transportation Fund.

“Seeing and talking to guys like Larry Reyes, Ray Godman and Preston Davis just to name a few, is something that you just can’t put a price on,” Millican said. “These people are legends in our sport said Millican. It was really awesome seeing Reyes and Johnny West another former Hawaiian driver trading stories.

Knoll’s team crew chiefs Johnny West and Lance Larsen benefited greatly from the experience because of their long history in this sport.

This event continues to grow with over 450 people in attendance this year. The highlight of the evening was a video of Reyes’s career and the firing of the same Hawaiian funny car he drove.
