Entry list grows for Top Fuel/Open Fuel at the Southern Nostalgia Shootout

To date, eight entries have been received for the Top Fuel/Open Fuel class
at the Southern Nostalgia Shootout, October 27-29, at South Georgia
Motorsports Park.  While Big Daddy Don Garlits will be making exhibition
passes, these entries will race for a purse.  To date, Bob Bradley from
South Carolina, Lincoln Hassel from Raleigh, North Carolina, Adam Douglas
of Florida, Kevin Sein of Tampa, Florida, and Charlie Smith of Tulsa,
Oklahoma have entered.  Three other entries are coming from south
Florida.  These cars will qualify for an eight car ladder, with $1,000
going to the winner, $500 to the runner-up, and $250 to the
semifinalists.  Registration is still open.  The registration fee for car

In addition to theses racers, the Southern Slingshots will be making
exhibition passes during the event.  These cars are blown front-engined
dragsters which race for an eighth mile.
