Starting with his NMCA career in 2001, driver Matt Scranton has earned the Super Street World Championship, set both the ET and speed records for his class, and won every event in a single season. Scranton then moved on to the NHRA Sport Compact series and became the first Sport Compact racer to break the 200mph barrier. He remains the only driver in that series to have an undefeated season making him the top driver in sport compact racing history. The Scranton Brothers team has used Mickey Thompson tires throughout their successful race career and have set milestones in Sport Compact drag racing on Mickey Thompson tires.
