GLIDDEN RETURNS
Torco's CompetitionPlus.com has confirmed with Bob Glidden that he's returned in a consultant role with Dick Maskin and the Justin Humphreys Pro Stocker.
Glidden, a ten-time Pro Stock world champion in sixteen seasons, admitted that he's missed the game and this provides an excellent opportunity to return to action. He is testing today in Martin, Michigan, and expected to be in attendence during this weekend's NHRA Lucas Oil Nationals in Brainerd, Minn.
"My job is to help on the race car in an advisory role," Glidden said. "I am excited to be out here because you know I love this stuff. These guys have had some hard times and when Richard called me that I felt I could help them out."
Glidden expects to be at the remaining events on the NHRA POWERade drag racing tour.
